Executive Statement

As we look at this current year 2023, there are two distinct themes. Firstly, the Company's appointment of a new CEO and secondly the company’s growth /expansion and transformation plan.

  • New Appointment. At the commencement of 2023, RCS has seen the departure of our founding CEO Paul Boucher who played a paramount role in the establishment of Rainbow Community Services since 2005. We welcomed our new CEO Mark Sheedy who is bringing in a lot of exciting change and innovative ideas.

  • New project. Our goal as a business is to maximise our potential whilst achieving and maintaining the highest standards of care services and for our clients in a profit generating capacity.  It is with great pride that I can announce the expansion and growth of Ivy Mews going from four to five apartments. Construction of the new apartment will commence in August 2023, with the aim to have it ready for occupancy by December 2023. Construction will also take place in Smithstown concurrently, for an ultra-modern activities and gaming room. In addition Smithstown will increase occupancy levels to five. We are extremely delighted with the undertaking of these two projects. This evolutionary growth is proof of our total commitment to continual development of our service provision in search of better outcomes for the young people.

Along with these two projects we are excited to boost the wellbeing of our staff by introducing a new Personal Accident insurance cover for all our staff. This will go a long way to give the much needed peace of mind in the event of any unforeseen eventualities either at home, abroad or in the work place. Lastly but not least, a massive thank you to our managers and the dedicated staff team that continue to go above and beyond for the children in our care, without them growth would not be at the core of our vision.
